CEO Roundtable Presentation on Blogging
What a fun collaboration today at the Charleston Area Alliance. I had the pleasure of teaming up with Bob Coffield, Matt Ballard and Tom Kittredge in presenting the basics and benefits of blogging to a group of 25 CEOs and business leaders.
I learned quite a bit, and if you were in attendance, I hope you did, too. If you are visiting the Marketing Genius blog for the first time today, as a result of the conference, please post a comment and say, "Hi."
We'll have our PowerPoint slides very soon. Meahwhile, here are a few photos from today's gig: that's Matt at the top of this page, Bob below.

West Virginia Bloggers Think Nationally
As a soon-to-be serious blogger, I appreciated yesterday’s session. This technology is revolutionizing the Web, and it’s good to see local professionals on the cutting-edge.
Skip's “Ten Reasons to Blog” were quite insightful, although his #10 is my #1 (networking nationally and locally).
I’m glad to hear the PowerPoint slides will be posted, so the public can access the above “Ten Reasons” and the section contrasting the early Web with the emerging Web 2.0.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the presentation yesterday and even more excited by your decision to take up our challenge to start a blog after the session. Skip's To 10 reasons made me better able to understand why I blog and have kept blogging since 2004.
The session prompted me to learn a new web 2.0 utility -- SlideShare. Here's a link to slides.

Thanks to Skip, Bob, and Matt for an excellent (and insightful) presentation on the value of blogging in business.
