Something to be said for custom advertising!


My mother attended a thrilling musical in Pittsburgh a few weeks ago about the witches of the Wizard of Oz. See the link above. This is the prequel to the Wizard of Oz, which explains how the witches became good and bad. If the play is ever in your area you should check it out.

She graciously brought me home a copy of the program from the event.

In a standard program for theater or music you rarely see advertisements customized to the event itself. The folks at A to Z communications in Pittsburgh took the program ad to the specific next level, kudos to them. For this reason, their ad sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the usual boring corporate ads you normally see in program books.

Keep in mind that during certain less exciting events, much time is spent reviewing the pages of the program.

Let's challenge ourselves and our clients to get the most out of program ads. Every positive or negative perception matters.
